Confirmation is given on something that most of us thought all along.

Damon tells Stefan he wasn't looking forward to telling Elena the truth, so he will let him do it.  Stefan asks, "What truth?"  Damon says, "About John. Am I the only one in this town that can put two and two together? Isobel dated John when she was 15, gets pregnant and ends up at the doctors office of John's brother.  What is John's role in all of this?"  Stefan not so sure says, "You think John is Elena's dad?"  Ding, ding, ding.

Isobel and John confirm this theory in conversation when she says, "She is (referring to Elena) our daughter, John.  We owe that to her."  John says, "I know."

She's Back Tonight!

Isobel returns and threatens to start killing every citizen in Mystic Falls if Alaric doesn't arrange a meeting with Elena. 

Looks like Isobel and Damon might have a blast from the past.

Matt is in trouble and needs help.

Elena decides to meet Isobel or she is afraid she will regret it.  When they finally meet, Isobel refuses to answer most of Elena's questions.  What other trouble does Isobel cause?

Stefan awakens from his sedated state only to have flashbacks of his past.  He and Damon reveal parts of their history to Elena, until she finally learns the truth about how they became vampires.  Will it make her understand Stefan's struggle better?

Pearl has an ugly confrontation with John Gilbert.  Will John gain any knowledge of where the invention is?

Damon continues to try and figure out what the pocket watch Pearl gave him is for and what the invention does that John Gilbert wants.

Tonight is a must watch!

Stefan is not hiding his secret very well anymore.  Damon bust Stefan on his stolen blood bank blood supply which allows others to become aware of his cravings as well.

Alaric catches Stefan in vampire form when a fellow classmate bloodies his knee during an after school  game.  If Alaric hadn't interfered, Stefan probably wouldn't of been able to resist the blood temptation.

Damon fills Elena in on the fact that Stefan is still participating in his extra curricular activity.  Stefan walks in during this conversation and is angered by the knowledge they now both possess.  He breaks the mirror in the bathroom and kidnaps Amber, a pageant contestant.  He freaks out on her and has to fill his blood craving by taking a drink from her neck.  

After the pageant concludes Damon and Elena know something is up when Stefan fails to escort Elena and Amber is missing.  The search is on and the battle begins.  Damon tries to calm Stefan only to get tossed like a rag doll.  It takes Bonnie using her witch powers to subdue Stefan and stop him from killing Amber.  

Will Stefan ever gain control of himself and his cravings?
